Yr4 Weekly Update – 06/16/17

 

This week we have begun making our museum exhibits. Each class will create a museum showing aspects of past civilisations. They will display primary and secondary evidence to tell a ‘story’ of what life was like in their chosen civilisation. They have been collecting data and analysing the evidence they have found. They are choosing what they think is important to tell their viewers and summarising and synthesising the information into concise explanations.

 

We have been doing some  persuasive writing, looking at the language and text organisation of this genre. We have also been continuing our investigations in shape and space, analysing 2D shape properties and drawing and measuring angles.
