Yr4 Weekly Update - 06/09/17We all had a great book week! Lots of activities, stories, dressing up and enjoying our reading. Our Unit of Inquiry continued to take shape, with a trip to the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. We looked for (and found) different types of primary and secondary evidence. We also looked closely at the way that the museum presented the evidence: the different types of information and display cases they used, how evidence was grouped and ordered. Classes began their journeys into ancient civilisations through Minecraft Edu with Mrs Darling. This will be continued with students using teh Minecraft format to analyse and build civilisations according to the criteria we have found. Our unit on Shape, Space and Direction continued with some work on the properties of 2D shape and measuring angles. |
