Yr4 Weekly Update – 06/02/17

 

This week we have been exploring what a civilisation looks like – there are several features that all civilisations seem to have. We have been applying several of our reading skills to our finding out. See our T chart of skills and purpose below.

We have also had a chance to see the Y6 Exhibition showcase and begin to get an idea of what we will need to do in a couple of years. Ity was great to see some of our siblings and friends presenting their learning on the Global Goals.

Some of us have been exploring civilisations in Minecraft and others have been colonising imaginary empty islands and mapping them, using their shape, space and direction skills to describe coordinates.
