Acting Principal’s Message

Dear KJS Families,

The KJS Family Fun Day is almost here! After literally years of waiting, students, staff, and families will be able to connect and have some fun together on campus this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Our wonderful PTA are doing a stellar job in preparing for this great event, and I would like to thank Anna Rayton and Rekha Mahbubani, in particular, for their energy and leadership. I would also like to thank everybody else who has contributed or volunteered to help on the day, as well as everyone who is planning to attend. I look forward to seeing you all there.

As you may have already seen and, hopefully, read on Monday, I shared a summary of the KJS ESF Stakeholder Survey results. I believe that we have learned more about our strengths and opportunities for improvement through engagement with the data, and we look forward to seeing the data reflect the development of the school on an annual basis. I have included the link to the summary below in case you missed the ESF App message.

Thank you to those Y4 families that were able to attend the APA Day Camp information session on Monday. The Y4 Day Camp will take place on March 23rd and 24th, and our students are beginning to get excited at the prospect of learning outside of the classroom. On a related note, we are in the early stages of considering which camp provider is best placed to serve the needs of KJS students over the next two years. To this end, we have reached out to a number of well-regarded providers so that we can make an informed decision. We will keep you posted.

Hello KJS Community,

Friends and Family Fun Day 18 March!

This is it, the last few days before our first main event in a long, long time!

Lots of preparations have been going on for this Fun Day and we are super excited to be meeting you all after so long. The response to attend has been amazing!! If you would like to attend, please register on this Form, it’s not too late!

We are still seeking volunteers to help out on the day, if you can give us some of your time, please email Rekha on pta@kjs.edu.hk

(And please remember that your child must be under the care of an adult to attend this event.)

ESF Sports & Language – Spring Sensation (Spring Camp) & Taster Day

3 – 14 April, 2023

Spring into life and join ESF Sports & Language for some fun and adventure where they have a variety of courses and workshops on offer for students of all ages. From  playgroups, kindergarten English to Drama, lacrosse to swimming, magic workshop to secondary life skills and outdoor adventure camp, we really do have something for everyone!  With week-long programmes or one-off seasonal workshops for your flexibility, we’ll keep your children busy and engaged this Spring.
