First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to all the parents who attended the 'You Tell Us' sessions with the class teachers over the past two evenings. Your involvement in these sessions is invaluable, providing our teachers with insights into how best to support both you and your children in their educational journeys. This week, I had the pleasure of spending some time on several walk-arounds to observe the fantastic learning taking place across the school. It is always fascinating to see the variation in learning experiences from year to year. I was particularly impressed by the independence our students are exhibiting, as well as the support and collaboration among them. I am sure you are well aware that next week we will celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. We wish all families celebrating, a wonderful time with friends and family. Please also remember that the school will be closed on Wednesday next week for this public holiday. Throughout this week we had the opportunity to welcome over 200 prospective Year One parents to our school. It was rewarding to showcase our fantastic learning spaces and facilities, and I was delighted to hear the positive feedback, particularly regarding how calm and engaged our Year Two students were. As always we are grateful for the strong partnership we have with each of you. Your ongoing support and involvement are essential to our success as a school community. Have a wonderful weekend. While individual achievements are undoubtedly significant and provide a source of pride for both the student and their family, sharing every student's accomplishments on our social media channels is no longer feasible. Our intention is to create an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of their individual accomplishments, feel valued and celebrated. That being said, we encourage you to share your child's achievements with their teacher and peers, as well as within your personal social media networks. This way, your child's accomplishments can be recognized and celebrated by those who know them best. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to navigate the post-pandemic educational landscape. Our school community's strength lies in our collective efforts to celebrate the diverse talents, achievements, and experiences of all our students. Disclaimer
